Use Reviral inside Claude, Cursor and Windsurf (MCP)

1. Create an API key (it starts with rvr_; you see it once).
2. Paste one line into your terminal (Claude Code), or the file below (Cursor, Windsurf). Put your key where it says rvr_YOUR_KEY.
3. Ask your chat: “what Reviral models do you have?”, then “make a picture of a cat on a surfboard”.

claude.ai (web, desktop, phone): sign in, no API key

1. In claude.ai open Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector.
2. Paste https://reviral.ai/api/mcp as the server URL. If it asks how Claude should identify itself, pick Register automatically. Press Add, then Connect.
3. A Reviral page opens: sign in with your Reviral account (the same login as the website).
4. Reviral shows who is asking and what it may do. Press Allow. You are back in Claude, connected.
5. Ask: “what Reviral models do you have?”. Making a picture or video still shows the price first and waits for your yes.

No API key is needed for this. To disconnect, revoke “Signed in from an AI chat app” on your API keys page. On a Team or Enterprise plan an Owner adds the connector first; then you press Connect.

Your chat picks the tool for you. Browsing models and prices needs no key.

Price first, then yes

1. You ask for a picture or a video. The chat calls generate_image or generate_video.
2. Nothing is made yet. Reviral answers with the price in credits, your balance and a confirm_token. The chat shows you the price.
3. You say yes. The chat calls again with the same request plus the confirm_token. Only now is the job started and the credits charged.
4. The chat calls wait_for_job: the picture (or the video’s cover frame) appears in the chat with its reviral.ai link.

A confirm_token works once and expires after 10 minutes. If the request or the price changes, nothing is charged and the chat asks for a new price. Not enough credits? You see how many more you need and a link to top up.

Limits

• 60 requests a minute per API key (or per account when you signed in from claude.ai), and one tool call per request. Over that, you get a “try again in N seconds” answer.
• Making a picture or video answers within about 45 seconds. If it needs longer, it keeps going on our side and you get its job id right away; wait_for_job then brings the link.
• wait_for_job waits at most 50 seconds per call. A longer video returns “running” with its job id; the chat simply asks again.
• Prices are the same as on the website and in the API. Your files stay in your Reviral account; open them from the reviral.ai link.
• You can only see and download your own jobs.

FAQ

What is the Reviral MCP server?

It is one web address, https://reviral.ai/api/mcp, that AI chat apps such as Claude Code, Cursor and Windsurf can connect to. Once connected, the chat can list models, tell you prices, make pictures and videos with your Reviral credits, and give you the download links.

Can the chat spend my credits without asking?

No. The first call to make a picture or video only returns the price and your balance and charges nothing. The job starts only when the chat calls again with the confirm_token, which it should do only after you say yes. Each token works once and expires after 10 minutes.

Do I need a paid plan?

No. Any signed-in Reviral account can create an API key. Free-plan videos and pictures carry the Reviral logo, the same as everywhere else on Reviral.

Does it work on claude.ai?

Yes. In claude.ai open Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste https://reviral.ai/api/mcp, press Add, then Connect, sign in with your Reviral account and press Allow. No API key is needed.

How do I disconnect claude.ai?

On your API keys page, revoke “Signed in from an AI chat app”. Every chat app you signed in from is disconnected at once; connecting again asks you to sign in and allow again.
