Kling Prompt Guide: Write Better Kling 3 Prompts

Write it as one short paragraph, in this order: 1) the subject (who or what), 2) the action (what happens, one clear action), 3) the place, 4) the camera (how it moves), 5) the light and look. Plain sentences work better than lists of keywords.

Describe what the viewer sees, not what you want the viewer to feel. "Rain runs down the window" works better than "a sad mood".

Keep one main action per clip. If the video needs three things to happen, make three clips and join them, or use a longer Kling V3 clip and write the actions in the order they happen.

4. Action beat: "A basketball player leaps and dunks in an empty outdoor court at sunset. The camera tracks sideways with him, then slows as the ball drops through the net. Long shadows, orange sky, dust in the air."

5. From a photo: "Using the uploaded photo as the first frame: the woman turns her head toward the window, her hair moves in a light breeze, and she smiles. Keep her face, clothes and the room exactly as in the photo. Slow push-in."

Too many actions in one clip: the model rushes or skips some. Keep one main action, or split into clips.

Asking for sound on an option without it: Kling 3.0 Turbo makes silent video, and Kling V2.6 makes sound at 1080p only. Turn on Generate audio on the other options.

Fighting the reference photo: when you start from a photo, do not describe a different face, outfit or room. Describe only the motion and the camera, and say what must stay the same.

No camera line: without one, the camera choice is left to the model. Say "locked camera" if you want it still.
