Hailuo Prompt Guide, with Wan Prompts to Copy

Write one short paragraph in this order: the subject, one clear action, the place, how the camera moves, then the light and look. Describe what the viewer sees, in plain sentences.

Hailuo makes silent clips on Reviral, so leave sound out of the prompt; add music or voice later. Hailuo is known for real-world motion such as water, cloth and falling objects, so describe how things move and land.

Hailuo on Reviral has a Prompt optimizer switch, on by default, which lets the model expand a short prompt. Turn it off when you want your exact words used.

Hailuo 2.3 and Hailuo 02 also read camera commands in square brackets, placed where the move should happen. MiniMax's own API guide lists 15, such as [Push in], [Pan left], [Tracking shot] and [Static shot], with up to 3 in one bracket. Plain camera sentences work too, and the prompts below use them.

Use the same order, then add the sound. Every Wan option on Reviral has Generate audio on by default, so describe what we should hear: a line of speech in quotes, sizzling, rain, crowd noise.

Wan 3.0 makes up to 30 seconds in one clip, so it can hold a longer single move, such as a slow rise from a beach to a whole village. Keep the movement steady and describe it from start to end.

Wan 2.6 Flash needs a photo or a video link to start from and takes the shape of your photo. Describe only the motion and what must stay the same.

4. Wan · talking clip with sound: "A street food cook in Bangkok fries noodles in a wok and says to the camera: "Two more minutes!" Sizzling sound and street noise. Handheld camera, warm evening light, steam."

5. Wan · long single shot: "A drone shot rises from a quiet beach at sunrise, over palm trees, to show a small fishing village and boats heading out to sea. Slow, steady movement, soft golden light, calm waves."

Writing sound into a Hailuo prompt: Hailuo clips are silent on Reviral, so sound words do nothing there.

Leaving sound out of a Wan prompt: Wan makes sound by default, so say what it should be, or turn Generate audio off.

Asking for a shape on Hailuo or Wan 2.6 Flash: the frame shape is not a setting on these; start from a photo in the shape you want on Wan 2.6 Flash.
