What every UGC prompt needs

Camera: 'vertical 9:16 selfie footage, handheld, slight shake'. Person: age, look, clothes, and 'real skin texture, no smoothing'. Place: one real room with its light, such as 'bathroom vanity, soft mirror light'. Words: the exact line in quotes and how it is said. Sound: room tone and one or two effects. Timing: what happens from 0-3 s, 3-10 s and 10-15 s.

Add what to avoid at the end: no studio look, no text on screen, hands with five fingers, the product label staying the same in every frame.

Six UGC prompts to copy

1. Morning review: 'Vertical selfie video in a bright kitchen at 8 am, a woman in her 30s holds the [product] up to the lens and says "I didn't think this would work, but look", then shows the result.' 2. Car chat: 'Parked car, front seat, phone on the dashboard, a man talks casually about [product] while the sun comes through the windscreen.'

3. Quiet unboxing: 'Close-up of hands opening a box on a wooden table, crisp paper sounds, a whispered "okay, this is nice".' 4. Mirror check: 'Full-length mirror outfit check, phone visible, she turns once to show the [product].' 5. Gym proof: 'Bright gym floor, he drinks [product] between sets and gives one line about it.' 6. Desk demo: 'Home office desk, top-down phone shot, hands set up [product] in three steps.'

Prompt or storyboard

If you would rather not write prompts, the Storyboard tab takes a rough idea, or nothing at all, and Write my ad — free builds the beats and spoken lines from your product photo. Both tabs render the same 15-second clip; the prompt tab gives you full control of the wording.

What a prompted clip costs

One 15-second clip from your prompt costs 278 credits (~$3.47) at 720p. Sign-up gives 100 free credits with no card, and the exact charge shows before anything renders. If a render fails, the credits spent on it go back to your balance automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I paste a UGC video prompt?+

In the UGC studio, open the Write my own prompt tab. It sends your text to the video model word for word and renders one 15-second clip; you can attach a face and a product photo as references.

How long should a UGC prompt be?+

Long enough to cover camera, person, place, words, sound and timing, usually one solid paragraph. A one-line prompt leaves the model to guess, and guesses tend to look staged.

Can a tool write the prompt for me?+

Yes. The Storyboard tab writes the beats and spoken lines from your product photo for free, and the video prompt generator turns a short idea into a full prompt.
