What a teaser is
Cambridge Dictionary: a teaser is an advertisement, short film or similar that gives a small amount of information about a product or subject to make people interested in seeing or hearing more later. Adobe says teasers are usually about 30 seconds to one minute long; other sources say shorter, so under a minute is the safe target.

Five steps and a 15-second plan
1. Pick the one thing to hide: the product, the face, the date. 2. Choose a mood shot that hints at it: a silhouette, a box, a close-up of a detail. 3. Write one line or one sound that raises a question. 4. End on the date, a countdown or Follow for the reveal. 5. Make a vertical and a landscape version.
A 15-second plan: 0-5 s a slow push-in on a detail, 5-11 s a quick cut of motion or light that shows a little more, 11-15 s black screen with the date. Seedance 2.5 runs up to 30 seconds in one shot, so the whole teaser can be one clip.
