Wedding or birthday slideshow
Photos in order over one song, with soft crossfades.
A slideshow video plays photos one after another, usually with music and a transition between each picture. Reviral's browser editor makes one for free: import your photos, clips and a song, lay them on the timeline, add crossfade, wipe, slide or zoom transitions and text, then export in your browser.
Editing and export run in your browser.
Open the editor on a desktop browser and import your files: it takes video, audio and image files in one go.
Drag the photos onto the video track in the order you want, and stretch or shorten each one to set how long it stays on screen. Put your song on an audio track under them.
Pick a transition between two photos (crossfade, dip to black, wipe, slide, zoom or push), add a title or captions on a text track, then press Export. The file is made in your browser.
Editing and exporting in the browser editor use no credits. Free accounts get 3 edited exports a month, up to 200 MB each; buying any credit pack unlocks unlimited exports.
Want the photos themselves to move? Cinema Studio's Seedance 2.5 turns up to 30 photos into an AI clip, and a 10-second 720p clip costs 230 credits (~$2.87). Sign-up gives 100 free credits with no card.
Wikipedia describes a slide show as a series of still images shown in a set order on a screen. Adobe Express lists wedding slideshows, product and business promos and travel recaps as common uses.
