Family photo video
Old and new pictures in date order over one song.
To make a picture video with music, pick your pictures and one song, decide how long each picture stays on screen so they fill the song, and export them as one video. Reviral's browser editor does this for free: pictures on the video track, the song on an audio track, a transition between pictures, then Export.
Editing and export run in your browser.
Divide the song length by the number of pictures to get the seconds per picture. A 60-second song and 20 pictures gives 3 seconds each; a 30-second clip for Reels and 10 pictures also gives 3 seconds each.
Give the best picture more time, and start and end on your two strongest pictures.
1. Open the editor on a desktop browser and import the pictures and the song (it takes image, video and audio files).
2. Drag the pictures onto the video track in order and drag each one's edge to its length.
3. Put the song on an audio track and trim its end to the last picture.
4. Add a transition between pictures (crossfade, dip to black, wipe, slide, zoom or push) and a title on a text track.
5. Press Export; the video is made in your browser.
The editor uses no credits. A free account gets 3 edited exports a month, up to 200 MB each; any credit pack unlocks unlimited exports.
If you want the pictures to move like video, the AI route is Photos to Video with Music: up to 30 photos and your song into a Seedance 2.5 clip, 230 credits (~$2.87) for 10 seconds at 720p.
YouTube warns that videos using someone else's music can get a Content ID claim, and points creators to its royalty-free Audio Library.
