The best-known open source AI video generators are Wan 2.2 from Alibaba, HunyuanVideo from Tencent and LTX-Video from Lightricks, and their GitHub pages list the license and GPU each needs. Wan 2.2's smaller TI2V-5B model runs on a 24 GB card such as an RTX 4090, while HunyuanVideo needs 60 GB for 720p. If you have no GPU, Reviral runs hosted Wan 2.6 and Wan 3.0 in the browser, and a 5-second Wan 2.6 clip costs 83 credits (~$1.04).
