Open Cinema and pick Vidu Q3
Open Cinema, press the model name and type "Vidu Q3" in "Search models…". Pick Vidu Q3, or Vidu Q3 Turbo or Q3 Pro to start from text alone.

Add a photo
Vidu Q3 starts from 1 to 7 photos: a person, an outfit, a product or a place. Without one, Cinema says "Add a reference image before generating." Q3 Turbo and Q3 Pro take up to 2 photos and do not need one.

Describe the video
In "Describe the video you want to create…", write who is in the shot, what they wear and do, where it happens and how the light falls, the one camera move, the sound and the last frame (up to 5,000 characters). The prompt guide has three prompts to copy.

Set length, resolution and aspect
Under "Model parameters", set Duration (3 to 16 seconds on Vidu Q3), Resolution (540p, 720p or 1080p) and Aspect (16:9, 9:16, 4:3, 3:4, 1:1). Generate audio starts on; every Vidu Q3 resolution costs the same.

Press Generate and download
The credits show on the Generate button before you press, 7.17 a second. The button then says "Opening your videos…" and takes you to the clip's page; press Download when it is ready.

Lead with the person and what they do; put camera and light in the middle and sound at the end. Give the shot one camera move, not three.
Describe things physically: the fabric and colour of each garment, what the light comes from, what the hands do. End the prompt with the final frame you want to see.
