Make Video with Pictures iPhone: 3 Easy Ways

To make a video with pictures on iPhone, open an album in the Photos app and play it as a memory movie set to music, or use iMovie's Magic Movie, which adds a soundtrack, transitions and a Ken Burns zoom on each photo. For pictures that actually move, upload them to Reviral's Cinema Studio; a 10-second Seedance 2.5 clip at 720p costs 230 credits (~$2.87).

  • Photos app: a memory movie set to music
  • iMovie: Magic Movie and the Ken Burns effect
  • AI: your photos turned into moving clips
  • iPhone HEIC photos converted in the browser

Way 1: a memory movie in Photos

Every collection and album in the Photos app can play as a memory movie set to music. Play it, tap Customize, then Music and Change Song to swap the track; set the length to short, medium or long, and the transition to crossfade or rotate. On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, tap Collections, Memories, Create, and type a description of the movie you want.

Way 2: iMovie

iMovie on iPhone has three project types: Magic Movie, Storyboard and Movie. Magic Movie builds a movie from the clips and photos you choose, with a soundtrack and transitions. Every photo gets the Ken Burns effect, a slow pan and zoom that keeps faces in frame; you set its start and end framing or turn it off.

Way 3: pictures that move, with AI

A pan and zoom moves the frame, not the picture. Reviral's Cinema Studio turns your photo into motion: steam rises, hair moves, the camera walks into the scene. Open it in your browser, on the iPhone or a computer, add up to 30 photos as references for Seedance 2.5, describe what should happen and generate 4 to 30 seconds.

iPhone photos in HEIC format are converted to JPEG and shrunk in the browser before upload, so you can pick them straight from the camera roll.
