Bijutsu prompt guide: how to write the note
The note tells Bijutsu what to change. Bijutsu reads your video, your photos and your note together: the note says who becomes who, where the new scene is, how the light falls and, in Swap a thing, which one object changes. In Copy the moves you can leave it empty if you add a photo. Below are six notes we tested, each next to the original clip and the video it made.

Six rules from the tested notes
1.Say who becomes who
With more than one person, name each one and the photo that replaces them.
“The man in the striped polo in @Video 1 becomes the man in @Image 1”
2.Say what stays
List the moves and things that must not change, so only the new parts move.
“Keep her face, her hair and every dance move as filmed.”
3.Name the place and its light
One sentence for the new place and where the light comes from.
“the low sun on the horizon throwing a warm orange glow across both men”
4.Add one detail that moves
A detail that reacts to the action makes the remake feel filmed, not pasted.
“Her balloon dress bounces with every step of the dance.”
5.End with the camera
Close the note by keeping the original camera.
“Same camera moves as @Video 1.”
6.Short notes work too
A photo plus one line is enough for Copy the moves.
“the person in @Image 1 does the moves. the place is a rain-wet neon street at night.”
Six tested notes and the videos they made
Drag the line on each video: the original is on the left, the Bijutsu remake on the right. The note under it is the exact note that made it.

1. Same court crash, two new players in a pink desert
Copy the moves · 6 s billed · 120 credits · 2 photos
The man in the striped polo in @Video 1 becomes the man in @Image 1: cobalt box fade, canary-yellow satin bomber with red cherries, purple cargo trousers. The man in the blue jacket who falls becomes the man in @Image 2: red beret, waxed moustache, turquoise faux-fur coat, tangerine trousers. They play out the same moment exactly as filmed: the drive with the ball, the collision, the fall to the ground and the arms-out pose at the end. Change the place to an outdoor basketball court in a pink desert at dusk: the court painted lavender (#B79CFF) and coral (#FF6F61), pink sand dunes and tall cacti beyond the fence, a violet and peach sky with the low sun on the horizon throwing a warm orange glow across both men and long shadows on the court. Same camera position as @Video 1. Late sunlight flashes off the basketball as it bounces away.

2. Two new dancers, same party moves on a sunset beach
Copy the moves · 6 s billed · 120 credits · 2 photos
The man dancing in the first part of @Video 1 becomes the man in @Image 1: teal curly mullet, magenta sequinned bell-bottom jumpsuit, gold belt. The woman dancing with her arms up after the whip pan becomes the woman in @Image 2: violet afro puffs, lemon-yellow tulle mini dress, pink belt, white go-go boots. Each one dances exactly as filmed, with the same whip pan between them. Change the party to a beach party at sunset on a tropical beach: strings of colourful bulbs between palm trees, a turquoise sea and an orange-and-pink sky behind, the crowd around them in bright floral swimwear and shirts holding coconut drinks; the low sun lights the sequins so they sparkle at every move. Waves roll onto the sand behind them in the sunset light. Same camera moves and the same whip pan as @Video 1.

5. Bubble-wrap dress becomes a rainbow balloon dress
Swap a thing · 17 s billed · 340 credits · 0 photos
Replace the bubble-wrap dress on the grandmother in @Video 1 with a dress made of hundreds of small glossy balloons in rainbow colours, red (#FF3B30), orange (#FF9500), yellow (#FFD60A), green (#34C759), blue (#0A84FF) and violet (#AF52DE), bunched into the same puffed ball-gown shape with the same round puffed sleeves and the red ribbon belt; replace the red-and-white striped shopping bags with two big shiny hot-pink (#FF2E93) heart-shaped foil balloons on short ribbons that she swings exactly the way she swings the bags. Keep her face, her hair and every dance move as filmed. The grandmother smiles and keeps her eyes on the camera between the moves. Change the place to an outdoor music-festival stage at night: strings of multicoloured festival bulbs overhead, magenta and cyan stage lights sweeping through drifting haze, and paper confetti in pink, yellow and teal falling through the beams, which light the balloons from behind so they glow. Her balloon dress bounces with every step of the dance. Same camera moves as @Video 1.

Questions about Bijutsu notes
Do I have to write a note?
Not in Copy the moves if you add a photo: the person in the photo takes over the video. Swap a thing always needs a note that names what to swap.
How do I say which photo is which person?
Type @ in the note and pick a photo; it becomes @Image 1, @Image 2 and so on. Then write "the man becomes @Image 1, the woman becomes @Image 2".
Does a longer note cost more?
No. The price is 20 credits a second of video. Notes and photos never change it.
How long can a note be?
Long enough for every example on this page; the note box stops you before a note gets too long for the video model.
Can I copy one of these notes?
Yes. Press "Use this note" under any example to open Bijutsu with that video, its photos and its note filled in.
