# Create a UGC character

> Save your own face as a UGC character for free from one clear photo, then add a paid PRO sheet with up to 3 angle photos so every ad keeps the same person.

A UGC character is a saved face that fronts your UGC ads — usually your own, or a team member's. You upload one clear photo and press **Save character (free)**; then, if you want the same person to look identical in every video, you press **Generate PRO sheet**, which makes a multi-angle picture of that face for a credit price shown on the button.

## Steps

1. Open **UGC Studio → Create UGC Character** in the sidebar (page `/app/ugc-creator/character`).
2. In **Add a new character**, choose a file under **Photo (big photos are shrunk automatically)**. Use a clear, front-facing photo you have the rights to.
3. Optional: add **Angle photos (optional, up to 3)** — side or back shots help the PRO sheet match the person better.
4. Type a **Name** (up to 60 characters, for example "Jordan") and pick **Gender**: **Female** or **Male**.
5. Press **Save character (free)**. The character appears under **Your characters**.
6. Optional: on the character card, press **Generate PRO sheet — N credits**. It takes about 30 seconds. When it is done the card shows **PRO sheet ready**, and **View sheet full size** opens it.
7. Go to [UGC Ads](https://reviral.ai/docs/ugc-ads), press **Choose your creator**, and pick your character from **Your avatars**.

## Example

You run a skincare shop and want yourself in every ad. Upload a bright selfie facing the camera, add one side-profile photo under **Angle photos**, name it "Me", pick your gender and press **Save character (free)**. Then press **Generate PRO sheet** once. From now on, choose "Me" in UGC Ads under **Choose your creator → Your avatars**.

## Troubleshooting

| "That photo is too large to upload — use a photo under 4MB." | Shrink or crop the photo, then upload again. |
| "That's not an image file." | Upload a JPG, PNG or another picture file. |
| "Upload a photo first." / "Give your character a name." | Add the missing photo or name, then press **Save character (free)**. |
| "Too many new characters just now — try again shortly." | Wait a few minutes and try again. |
| "Sheet generation failed — you were not charged." | Nothing was spent. Press **Generate PRO sheet** again, or try a clearer photo. |
| "Not enough credits —…" with **Top up** | Add credits, then generate the sheet. |
| "Avatars full (15/15) — delete one to add new." (in UGC Ads) | You can keep 15 saved avatars. Press **Delete** on one you no longer use. |

To remove a character, press **Delete** on its card and confirm. Videos you already made are kept.

Yes. Save character (free) costs nothing. Only Generate PRO sheet costs credits, and the price is printed on that button.

### What is a PRO sheet?

A multi-angle picture of the same person that Reviral makes from your photo. It helps every render keep the exact same face.

### If I delete a character, do my old videos disappear?

No. Videos you already made are kept.

### What if the PRO sheet fails?

You are not charged. The message reads Sheet generation failed — you were not charged.
